Sri Lanka Is Ready and Shining - Sri Lankan Embassy in Cairo successfully hosted a tourism promotional program

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Cairo successfully organized a tourism promotional campaign on 14.12.2025 at the Embassy premises, with the participation of leading Egyptian travel agencies, prominent airlines, travel bloggers, and influencers. The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and Sri Lankan travel agencies joined the event online.

The campaign highlighted Sri Lanka’s readiness to welcome tourists, underlining the full operation of tourist attractions, increasing international travel confidence, and the country’s swift recovery following the recent Cyclone Ditwha. The discussions also focused on strengthening tourism cooperation and promoting Sri Lanka’s diverse attractions, nature, stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, and renowned hospitality.
